NACS, the leading global trade association dedicated to advancing convenience and fuel retailing, serves as a trusted advisor to over 1,500 retailer and 1,600 supplier members from more than 50 countries. NACS serves the convenience and fuel retailing industry by sharing ideas and insights in its award-winning publications, creating unique networking and education opportunities and through industry-leading research and analysis.
Project Overview & Goal
NACS' Research Department needed surveyed data on "Last Mile Fulfillment" to be translated into a visually compelling white paper to be digitally distributed to
retailers globally. The goal was to educate the reader while maintaining the
reader's attention.
My Role
I was tasked with transforming complex informational data into easy-to-follow graphics. Strategic design principals were applied such as the use of color, typography and photography selection in order to deliver an impactful finished product that tells a story while also adhering to brand guidelines.
DESIGN STRATEGY
I designed custom icons
complimenting the client's existing branded iconography to reflect key data facts throughout the report.

Important information was highlighted throughout the report through the use
of color, size and placement to grab the reader's attention.

Outcome
NACS' research was transformed into a visually compelling white paper that effectively tells a story while adhering to brand guidelines. Basic design principals such as color, shape, photography and graphics were applied to engage and educate the reader. Interactive links were imbedded throughout the pdf to further explain text in the document.
